I grew up singing in church and was classically trained from ages 11-23. I began singing in worship team bands at age 12 and continued through college. I have sung competitively in several voice competitions (mainly for classical, choral, and musical theater genres). I am currently a private voice teacher at a school of music. I teach all ages. Although I appreciate my foundation and background in classical vocal technique, I especially love singing jazz, country, and various other genres. I have a bachelors of music education and a minor in vocal pedagogy. I enjoy songwriting as well. I am looking to join a band as one of the lead vocalists and am able to be a background singer who harmonizes. I am wanting to gain more experience performing for events and gigs instead of recitals and concerts. I feel confident being on stage but I could definitely grow and expand my musical knowledge. Range: Gb 3-F5. Comfortable Keys: DM, EM, cm, GM. Soprano 1. Commercial voice wise, singing a key higher than most female singer’s popular songs are most comfortable for me.
