ABOUT

Audrey was adopted from Hunan, China into a musical household. Her parents introduced her to a variety genres and styles, and as she grew older she decided that she wanted to play guitar. Audrey began her musical journey in a homeschool garage band and went to an open mic night once every month to perform covers at the age of 8. After becoming more and more exposed to her local music scene, she began to take her musical journey more seriously. She interviewed with Charlie Lagond at the Lagond Music School in Elmsford, New York at the start of her high-school career. She hasn’t looked back since and at Lagond, she decided to study Jazz. Audrey loved the idea of bringing her own ideas and passion to this rich art form and music. Now, she is a rising Sophomore and scholarship recipient at the world-renowned Manhattan School of Music. Opening for Steel Pulse at Brooklyn Bowl as well as performing at The Bitter End, Presbyterian Jazz Society, and Feinstein's 54 Below, she has a vast knowledge of a plethora of genres and musical styles. Jazz, pop, singer/songwriter, and blues are just a few of the genres that Audrey is proficient in.
