I am both a BASS PLAYER WILLING TO GIG, and primarily, I have an ORIGINAL ROCK BAND LOOKING FOR DRUMMER: I have a surf rock/pop band called The Fifth House.

We are very committed professional musicians looking for a drummer that wants gigs! You don't have to fully commit to the band, but let us know if you're interested primarily in live aspects, and some studio work as well! We have music out on every platform as The Fifth House. We primarily play from our recent EP, Too Many Dreams, and some new originals that are on the way.

Influences

We pull from lots of different influences: our pop/rock sound can be quite surfy, soaked in harmonies, influenced from sounds like The Beatles and Beach Boys. Our downbeat moody stuff takes a Pink Floyd experimental edge, with sultry vocals similar to Cloves.

As for bass: my favorites are Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, James Jamerson, Larry Graham, lots of rock!

Basses: Two Five string fender jazz basses, five string sterling music man, music man sub bass, hofner violin bass, fretless fender bass, acoustic Taylor bass, upright bass, upright electric bass.

Amps/extra: One mark bass combo amp, carvin amp and cabinet, pedal board with fuzz, sub bass, and envelope filter.

Etc: standard 58 vocal mic, plenty of stands and cables.
