I've been playing drums on and off for over ten years now. I find that I'm much more focused in my practice when I'm working towards something, so I enjoy being part of a band and having someone to play with!
I've also started to learn bass guitar, and I wouldn't mind joining a band as a bassist and focusing on that for a while.
I have some on-stage experience. All unpaid amateur work, but at least I've shown that I can learn a setlist and not choke when playing live.
I'm looking for a band in the Woodland/Davis area. I don't mind traveling to Sacramento, but I like being close enough to my bandmates that we can just get together on a weekday without needing to plan it way in advance.

Influences
I tend to become enamored with individual tracks more than albums or artists, stumbling across a single I like then listening to it on repeat until it drives me crazy. Rock and pop music work for me. I have no need to be clever or experimental or avant-garde; I'm totally happy just playing covers of 4/4 pop hits. I tend to like a classic band setup; guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.

Gretsch drums, Remo heads, Zildjian cymbals, Tama hardware. Zoom h4n and Shure SM58 for recording.
I have a home kit, and also a downsized travel kit that I'm tweaking so I can set it up quickly.
