I started singing in church, joined choir in elementary school and continued it through middle and high school. I joined the top choirs in high school. We were one of the top choirs in New Mexico, got second place in state competitions several years. I had solos and duets throughout choir. My freshman year I was a chorus member in the Santa Fe opera and was paid for this. I also got payed for vocals in a local commercial. I’ve taken vocal lessons in the past by several different teachers.
