ABOUT

I am a drummer that has played drums for 45 years and also marched with the kingsman drum and bugle corps back in the eighties. The most recent band that I was a part of was affliction from '04-06. Affliction was one of the most successful projects that I had a part of. We played 93 shows in 9 months, but unfortunately the majority of the rest of the band were not experienced in the business end and were more about the party and attention. In 2012 I unfortunately had a bad work accident and had broken both of my arms, and thought that I might not ever play again. Fortunately, drumming was actually part of what got my arms back in shape.

Influences

My influences range from classic rock all the way to metal and it's various genres. I am in the pocket drummer. More about the precision than being flashy . I am always trying to learn and grow, but I am not at the level of speed metal, blast beats etc. My favorite drummers range from Tommy Lee, Tommy Aldridge, Vinnie Paul, Randy Castillo, Buddy Rich, John Bonham, Derek Kerswill, and many many more.

Members Of Band

I'm currently looking to join or form a project. To start, just looking to jam and find people that I have chemistry with. I am good with arranging and composing structure of songs. My theory when writing is to keep it simple, and that each person has their piece to contribute when put together is magic.

EQUIPMENT

Currently I am playing an alesis electronic kit, because of the convenience of being able to play in my room and not bother anyone. Also with a mixer I can also jam with the whole band in my room while we all wear headphones and the only thing that will be heard is the vocals. As long as there's a good vocalist we should have no issues with complaints.
