Classic jazz influences are Miles, Turrentine, Benson, Montgomery, Jobim, Rollins, Adderley, Mobley, Monk, Powell, Scofield. Not too interested in classic rock, but happy to throw some in the mix on a limited basis. Like funk/blues/soul as well - Sly, Tower of Power, James Brown, Meters, AWB, Earth, Wind and Fire, Etta James, Tyrone Davis, etc.
