The Blast Addicts have formed a niche in the Central and Coastal Maine live music scene over the last three years by playing an eclectic mix of material unlike any other band around. W gig 2-3 times a month usually only on weekend night, but not always. We are in regular rotation at Paddy Murphy's, Ipanema Bar and Grill, and the Phoenix Pub, all in downtown Bangor, we play once a month at Chummies in Ellsworth. We also play at other clubs all over the Central and Coastal regions of Maine.

As stated above, the band has an unusual mix of material; a few of the things we cover and are our influences include; ACDC ( lot of that!), Pink, Rob Zombie, ZZ Ward and ZZ Top, The Doors, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Jimi Hendrix, Jet, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Michael Jackson, Alex Claire, George Thorogood, Soundgarden.

EQUIPMENT

Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2, Klipsh subs, JBL PRX715 mains, Behringer monitors.
Guitarist primarily plays an Ibanez Custom Shop Prestige through a Blackstar Soloist and an early 60' Gibson RA75 tube amp with a 2x15 external cab loaded with Celestion Greenbacks. Effects are Morley Bad Horsie, Digitech Whammy DT, Vox Saturator, Digitech Delay,, Boss DD-2 Digital delay, Boss CS-1 and Boss NS-2, and a Zoom Multi-Stomp all powered by VooDoo Labs. He also uses various customized Fender Stratocasters and an Epiphone acoustic-electric

Drummer plays a DDrum ash set with Zildgian cymbals and Gibralter and Tama hardware.
