ABOUT

Want to record an original CD of 10-12 recent originals that run from TexMex/surfy sounding to acapella w harmony, and everything in between. Used to sing folk, got bored with fingerpicking and the teary girl-voice sound, but recently got back into writing and playing and want to bend the sounds and mix odd possibilities in the way that The Black Keys do, or the Avett Brothers or Drunken Prayer. My songs are strong and I have the ear but not the technical skill to produce what I hear. The video attached isn't representative of my current interest in taking a new direction--but is just a quick, roughly recorded response written and produced out of passion and sadness for the Gulf.
