ABOUT

Blues Alley has earned the reputation as one of Connecticut's tightest, hardest working bands. The band was formed in 1992 when harmonica player/lead vocalist Dave Sanderson met with guitarist Russ Gordon, finding a mutual admiration and love of the blues, they decided to start a serious band. Dave brought in veteran bass player Alex Peckham, Steve Levy on Hammond Organ and John Murphy on Drums/Percussion. Blues Alley earned the privilege of being one of Toad's Place's regular blues acts, opening for Room Full of Blues, James "Super Harp" Cotton, legends John Mayall, George Thorogood and Johnny Winter along with rock legends Three Dog Night and J. Giels. The Special Olympics requested Blues Alley to perform three times during the largest sporting event of 1995. The summer of 1995 also saw the band perform at the Taste of New Haven and the New Haven Street Festival.

The band reunited in 2012 and is looking forward to
"Rock the House" again.

From diehard fans to those unfamiliar with the blues,
all are guaranteed a good time.
