The Blue Vice Band came together four years ago in the Ojai Valley. They perform a fusion of Blues, Classic Rock, and Reggae covers and originals that will rock your socks off! Their musical influences include Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Booker T and the MG’s, Muddy Waters, and the Beatles. They are an accomplished group of musicians who find fun in the universal language of music. The band members include:

Members Of Band
TONY CUCCIO (lead guitar, keyboards) Tony comes from Ojai and played 17 years with the Flyte Band, which was a fixture at Charlie’s at the Beach in Ventura. Additionally, he played eight years with the John Orvis Band with whom he once opened for Jimi Hendrix in the 1960’s. He is equally at home on the lead guitar or ripping it up on the keyboards.
STEPHEN MANN (tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones; flute) Steve was born in New York City and came up playing with the top R&B bands in Manhattan during the late 1960’s. He has performed with top artists such as Rod Stewart and King Curtis and toured and recorded with numerous other talented performers throughout his career. After relocating to the west coast, Steve has been working steadily in the Los Angeles music scene. Currently, he is working with three 17- piece jazz bands (Jimmy McConnell, Rex Merriweather and Joe Vento), two 9 - piece R&B bands (Floyd & the Flyboys, Bluestrain), two jazz quintets (Street Smart, Jocelyn Michelle B3 Quintet), and two 6 - piece blues bands (Blue Vice, Retro Rebels).
JOHN PERRY (drums) John was born in California and began playing drums at age nine. He comes from a musical family and grew up listening to the Beatles. After graduating high school in the 1970’s, he began playing with the Mike Curb Congregation with whom he opened for the likes of Sammy Davis, Jr. and Liberace. During that time, he played at the White House for President Nixon and at the Kennedy Center. He has been a session player in Los Angeles and played on sound tracks for movies and TV including The Grizzly Adams TV series.
MIKE SHORT (Spike) (guitar and vocals) Spike was born in Wisconsin and began playing the ukulele as a child living in Hawaii. When he transitioned to guitar, he removed two strings and played it like a uke. He currently plays with six or twelve strings on his guitars! Spike played with several Ventura County bands since the 1970’s including the Strand Band, Heat Wave, and Jacob’s Ladder before reuniting with Stan in the Blue Vice Band.
TONY TRIGUIERO (bass guitar and vocals) Tony grew up in Ventura and has played bass since the age of 12. Tony toured in Nevada, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi with Zippy T-bone, Slim Melons and Ten Miles High with keyboard player Jimmy Cicero. He once played 40 days straight with TJ and the Proposition between Ventura and Camarillo. Over the past 13 years, Tony has played with Guy Martin Group as well as with the Blue Vice Band. Tony can be seen every Thursday night at the Watermark W20 Lounge in Ventura for Jammin’ Thursdays with Lee Koch and the Guy Martin Group.
STAN WYATT (guitar and vocals) Stan is a guitarist/singer/songwriter with a collection of originals in the blues tradition with a little reggae thrown in for good measure. Stan has been playing in bands around Ventura County since the 1970’s. He has played with the
