I have been singing my entire life - it's a passion. I sang in choir my entire k-12 education and performed in various talent contests following; however, have never been part of a band. During my choir years, I was part of a special group and traveled several places to perform.

Influences

My number one influence is Elton John. I'm an alto - growing up adored Mariah Carey because she proved incredible range and it was a sound I could relate to and mimuc when singing in the lower register parts of favorite songs she released. Was also inspired by Bowie, Pink Floyd, the BIG 5 Seattle rock bands (strong winner including Chris Cornell as I worshipped his vocals).
