ABOUT

I'm looking to either start or join a band. I am competent on both the electric and bass guitar and am willing to fill in for either.

I primarily gravitate towards alternative rock, but am open to most genres, I don't like to limit myself in music and can usually find a way to fit whatever sound we're going for. I like mixing cleans with lots of distortion and reverb. I also like to experiment with different guitar effects to get a unique sound, especially if I'm in an originals band. I am very open to covers as well. I really enjoy playing energetic music.

I'm not really in it to make money. I work full time, so this is more of a hobby that I do for fun. That being said I do care about my tone and want to put on good shows that people enjoy, I'm just not necessarily looking to become the next big thing.

I don't mind working with or even teaching new players. Age is also not a factor to me.

I'm primarily influenced by a lot of grunge like Nirvana and Alice in Chains. But I also came up during the mid 2000's with bands like Bloc Party, the Bravery, and the Strokes, and their influences show in my playing as well.

EQUIPMENT

I play Fender guitars through an Orange SuperCrush 100 with various effects pedals.

If I'm on bass, I usually have my Jazz Bass plugged into an Acoustic B200 MKII, but I do also have a Mustang Bass if I'm feeling the shorter scale frets.
