ABOUT

I'm a (mostly) rhythm guitar player, composer, and Berklee alum in northern RI interested in either joining or forming an acoustic-based band. Since I have young (and very active, at least during the school year) kids, I can only really commit to one practice per week, with an eye toward playing, like, two gigs per month.

At this point, I'm just gauging interest. Still not sure which direction I'd like to go: female singer versus male, number of instruments, type(s) of music, etc. Or join an existing ensemble. I haven't played in a band for 25 years or so, but have had many late night jam sessions. I'm really itching to play again.

I like the acoustic and singer stuff a lot, but also like the idea of a drummer, bass, piano, etc. Looking to play the classics (Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, etc.), along with acoustic versions of rock tunes and stuff. Also open to incorporating some improvisation into the mix, and possibly collaborating on original music.
