Hailing from Statesville, N.C. (about 30 minutes north of Charlotte), brink, an alternative rock band, formed in 2004 putting in place an ultimate lineup of some of the areas most talented and creative individuals. From this union came a very distinct sound that, in original music, bridges the gaps between jazz, rock and metal creating a inimitable style that has one constant theme: a solid groove that forces listeners to nod their heads. The bands list of cover songs spans from early 90s alternative/grunge to todays hard rock and metal including such bands as Tool, Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade and Incubus. Highlights of brinks live performances include favorites 46&2 (Tool), Bombtrack (Rage Against the Machine), Man in the Box (Alice in Chains) and a unique rendition of Welcome to the Fold (Filter).
