ABOUT

Bruce Gardner is an American R&B singer, songwriter and producer. Not signed to a major recording label,
Bruce released his debut self-titled LP under his own imprint Bruce Gardner Music in 2006. Born in a suburb
of Maryland, Bruce discovered a love for music at an early age listening to his uncle’s records that he was forbade
touching.
Forgoing almost certain pummeling, he defied and listened being influenced by the artist and music rising from
the hi-fi stereo system. Artist like Stevie Wonder, George Clinton, Miles Davis, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Michael
Jackson, Barry White, Elton John, and James Taylor just to name a few.
While in High School, he joined a pop band by the name of 4play as a keyboardist and singer. 4play’s popularity
grew spawning a debut single entitled “Hold Me” as well as a small tour of the east coast.
In the late 90’s early 2000’s, Bruce began working as a Recording Engineer/Producer at several recording
studios in and around the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Bruce developed his skill and sound working
with such artist as Basehead, (Chrysalis Records) Citizen Cope, (RCA Records) Raheem DeVaughn, (368
Music Group) Profit Jones (Motown) and Chink Santana. (Murder Inc.).
Currently, Bruce is the owner of JBX Studios Inc. a multi media audio/video recording facility in Maryland
where he has recorded and produced several projects for film and TV as well as a few major and independent
recording artist.
Bruce will be releasing his latest LP in the fall of 2013 called “The Soulbruva Sessions Vol 1”. This LP is a perfect
showcase for the sultry, smooth, sexy vocal styling’s and music that Bruce recorded, produced and wrote
himself. There is a little something on this EP for everyone who is a lover of good R&B/Neo-Soul music. “All I
want to do is make people feel good when they hear a song of mine. Get touched by a lyric or get moved by the
rhythm. I want people to have a smile on their face or a tear in their eyes because they can feel what I’m trying
to do and say with the music. I just want to bring back that “good ole soul music”. That’s all I could ask for."
