I'm an easy-going multi-instrumentalist with 25 years experience (been playing since I was about 13). I've been in several gigging bands over the years but like a lot of us am finding I just don't have the time with all of life's demands to sustain that sort of thing these days. But I do love getting together with other musicians a few times a month in a room full of (primarily) acoustic instruments (these days, anyway) and blowing off some steam. The folks I usually get together with are quality players in a similar place with pretty much no musical prejudices - we just throw out tunes (everything from originals to covers of alternative modern rock to alt country to classic country to classic rock and bluegrass - occasionally even some old swing tunes) and grab an instrument of choice, a beer and throw in liberal doses of vocal harmonies and go. If this is your thing drop me a line. Would especially love to find a fiddle player and someone who can play dobro better than me to add to the mix.
