ABOUT
I've been playing on and off over the years but it doesn't take too long for me to get my chops back. Never afraid of a challenge, I learned bass parts to tunes such as "Come On, Come Over" By Jaco Pastorious and "La Villa Stangiato" by Rush. Mostly I just like playing tunes that have a good groove, like "September". I'm one of the more musically open minded musicians I know and listen to a little bit of everything, but am rooted in rock mostly. Oddly there is stuff that I like to listen to but have no interest in playing and stuff I like to play that I have little interest in listeng to. I'll play anything that I feel I can do justice to, be it rock, reggae, funk, r&b, country, folk, jazz, whatever. Jazz, however, is still a strange language for me, but I have picked up enough phrases to get me a couple of beers and find my way to the john.
