I'm a bit of an oddball. On paper I'm fairly unqualified, and I suppose I am. I've spent far too much time in my life being dragged through the underworld and not enough being able to cultivate cohesive art.
On Halloween I got to sing into a real, proper microphone in front of people and it was the most incredible experience. I've never gotten to express that much emotion in front of other people and not be shunned for it, and I want to do that again. I have a lot of horrific-type emotion to express and if I don't get it out I'm going to actually explode, I think.
I've forgotten how to play more instruments than many people can name off, but I don't have anything except a keyboard now (and that's one I never learned to a great extent).
I'm looking to sing now though. I have a horrendous creative block and my voice is the only thing that can cut through it. I haven't been able to be comfortable writing my own songs yet, but I leak ideas and phrases. I'm also certain that in about a month, if I have support, I'm going to burst out of this creative block in a dramatic way.
Tl;dr I don't look fantastic on paper but take a chance on me and you could be surprised. I'm hoping to find an experienced musician to train me.
