I am a classically trained cellist who teaches violin, viola, cello and bass in the public school system. I have taught orchestra, band, general music, piano, classical guitar and have some experience playing Viola De Gamba in an Early Music Ensemble. I have recently been working on developing composition and lyric writing as well as playing electric cello with effect pedal. One of my interests that I am developing now is the use of a looper with my cello, in addition to the effects pedal. I have played with a rock guitarist for the last 5 months but have quit that band recently. I am looking to continue my improvisational skills while playing in a rock band as well as continuing performance on my cello acoustically as well as amplified with effects.

Influences
Yo Yo Ma and his Claud Bolling Jazz Trio, Metalica, Apocalyptica, Matt Hairmovitz, are all groups that have influenced me to think outside the box and possibly create a new genre of music. But in the meantime, I simply enjoy rocking out with talented musicians.
