I’m a trained percussionist with music degree. I enjoy singing, though I’ve never done it in a performance setting.
I am interested in developing a new genre of music. Not for the sake of innovation but because I believe the style I’m imagining could be something really special, unique and connect with a large audience of listeners.
The style I’m in search of is a blend of alternative with some added flavor from more progressive textures. The most similar band I can think of would be As Tall As Lions, except exclusively acoustic and mellow. Think of any acoustic version of a warped tour band’s music but written acoustically FIRST. Not crudely adapted.
