ABOUT

I have been a musician (guitarist) for 55 years. I played blues in local bands and studied jazz at a conservatory for 3 years before changing my career path and getting a day job. Since then I have grown my jazz playing with a focus on traditional jazz, Brazilian jazz, and finger style jazz and, in recent years, have also focused on African/World music and played with an 8 piece African band for 3+ years and a 6 piece world music band for 3+ years. I am currently involved with a world music band and a guitar duo but am also looking to form or join a jazz trio or quartet. With that in mind, I am looking for a bass player and percussionist. The hope would be to play for fun and create new interpretations of existing material and write new material with sessions every couple of weeks or so. If it takes we can also do some recording and possibly some gigs.
