ABOUT

My name is Chris Don, I have a guitar performance diploma from Los Angeles College of Music (formerly known as Los Angeles Music Academy) in Pasadena. I am well versed in Rock, Pop, and Funk Rhythm/Lead guitar and, although I play and have studied jazz, I will admit Im not as versed in that genre, but I CAN read/study charts, know plenty of Jazz chord voicings, and am a seasoned improviser (though modulation of keys is not my strong point). I have my own original band I play with but keep my schedule open for other music related gigs. I have tons of experience playing shows AND recording in the studio. I'm a hard worker and take my music craft seriously but socially I'm extremely laid back. I'm looking for paid work only, Id prefer to be paid a $100 a gig in which I will give you as much of my time and attention the music requires, but I also understand that not all music projects have that kind of budget, so I'm price is negotiable. Music is my career and main income, so if you come to me with a paid gig, I promise to give you my best work.
