We are A Baptist church currently seeking a mature, RELIABLE, responsible, FULL-TIME organist/keyboardist. We are an honest church that only has the Word of God to offer and nothing else. We seek a musician who can fit us. You do not have to site read music. We only require that you be able to play by ear, accompany the pastor (we offer example CDs with the pastor's format of preaching and the musician's accompaniment which is pretty much standard). We have a standard requirement as follows:
Sunday
Morning Worship 11:00 AM
Monday
Gospel Choir Rehearsal 7-9PM
Wednesday
Youth Choir Rehearsal 6-7:30 PM
Inspirational Choir 7:30-9:30 PM
*We have occasional afternoon services from 3Pm 'til around 5PM. These are always listed at the beginning of the month on the Church's calendar. Many are annual events posted by January. They are rare, but required. We also have an occasional outing either on a Thurs. or Fri. evening from 7PM until around 9PM at various churches throughout Chicago. There are no more than 10-12 per YEAR. They are also rare, but required. We have 2 annual anniversary weeks in the year in which we require Mon-Fri night attendance from 7:30-9PM.
