Folk/Roots Guitar player Wanted
Boston’s number one Irish band is seeking an enthusiastic acoustic guitar player. Must know you’re way around chord progressions and have solid rhythm in order to back the band. Age range between 25-35 is preferable. Our repertoire includes old style Irish folk music as well as more modern hits form The Pogues and The Saw Doctors. We fuse our Irish sound with American classics from Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, The Band and many more. Prepare to explore bluegrass as we continue to grow our sound. Creativity is a core driving force of this band and original songs will anchor our sets for a busy summer of touring. We gig anywhere from 3-5 times a week and play all the major Irish Festivals in the area but our eyes are set southward towards folk and bluegrass festivals for the summer season. If you prefer a social life then this band isn’t for you as we gig most weekends but if music is your first passion then come and join the madness.
