Mostly bluegrass and related styles: alt-country, old country, old-time fiddle tunes, rockabilly. I can veer from Flatt and Scruggs to Buck Owens to Hazel Dickens to Bob Marley in one sitting, and am easily distracted into newer sounds. I am currently looking for a few people with simiar interests to work up some material for fun, maybe casual performance.

Influences: Start with Flatt & Scruggs, then on to Monroe, the Stanleys, Jim and Jesse. Add the Dead, Peter Rowan, Hot Rize, Roland and Clarence White, Tony Rice, Grisman. Current favorites: The Deadly Gentlemen, Steep Canyon Rangers, Mumford and Sons. Current local favorite: Snap Jackson (from Stockton, actually, but close enough). And I listen to everything, jazz to classical to world beat.
