I’m a fairly seasoned bassist with many accomplishments for a musician my age. That of which being: Making local All-State Ensembles, playing in a jazz group with Derek Brown (BeatBoxSax), and being a 4 time 1st chair player in the KMEA Jazz ensembles.

I’d like to say that my major influences fluctuate for every genre. With Jazz my influences are Jaco Pastorious for Electric Bass, and Major Holley for Upright Bass. My Rock influences are Michael Balzary (RHCP), Gene Simmons (KISS), and Billy Sheehan (Var.). For funk I have mainly one influence and that goes to Bootsy Collins. I currently have no influences for Blues Bass, as it’s fairly straightforward and simple…
