./concreteunderstanding. It's hard to explain. All I know is according to a certain A&R that works for Allure Entertainment group (outsource for BMG) our music has a nice commercial appeal but still retains an uncommon sense of reality. (Than our lead guitarist/singer freaked.) He is currently awaiting a new demo. For the more heartfelt songs we like running an acoustic guitar through a PA and for the songs that are supposed to rock we feel it's gotta be electric. Overall we go by the concept "If it sounds good, it's good." we are very open minded. You can see what we look like by going to /concreteunderstanding and watching the video for "Don't Go." We understand that with the lead singer and guitarist leaving, our sound will have to change a little, we are fine with that but are looking for something equally potent. We have no desire to be that band that plays tight, has great songs and than the lead singer's voice doesn't quite "do it." plus nothing makes a demo sound more amatuerish than a lacking singer. We have 14 *great* not just solid tracks. Anyone interested would be expected to learn them, and than from there we would collaborate and come up with new songs. We take pride in our music and love it more than anything else so we are looking for either a lead guitarist with a strong voice or just a guitarist and also a seperate singer/songwriter. Also we are not looking for anyone over 30. I understand how hard it is to find a band that is open minded in that department and my heart really goes out to you, but it's just kinda how it is. I'm sorry. Our music is always evolving and we're more new school, we need our members to have that same mindset.

If you live in the Phoenix area, so does our Drummer, don't be scared of the drive you can carpool with him. We practice every sunday unless we have a gig the night before.
