ABOUT
Newly arrived in Miami from Philadelphia, the Cordero-Whittaker Duo is an acoustic cover band, including acoustic guitar and voice, that has played in many restaurants and festivals throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Their unique brand of music, which re-imagines well known pop songs from across many decades, is the perfect subtle accompaniment to dinner and cocktails, while also providing the audience with familiar songs to sing along with or reminisce about. Although composed mainly of radio classics from the 50s to the hits of today, the Duo’s repertoire also includes jazz standards and folk favorites. Members Keandra Cordero, vocalist, and Nicholas Whittaker, guitarist, both recently graduated from The University of the Arts with Bachelor’s Degrees in Music and aim to use their talent to creatively reconstruct songs with the goal of establishing an ambiance conducive to enjoyable and understated entertainment.
