The Crooked Road Céilí Band is a lively Irish music trio based in the Santa Cruz Mountains, CA. Specializing in fresh traditional Irish dance music for weddings, wine tasting events, Celtic festivals, St.Patrick's Day, Irish and Scottish ceilis (dances), and public and private occasions of all kinds.
We often need a fill-in acoustic guitarist/octave mandolinist who can play in DADGAD or who otherwise can back traditional Irish music with a rockin' flare.
Also offering female vocals (strong alto, wide range) for multiple harmonies, hammered dulcimer and fiddle.
