Female singer looking for band to play shows or accoustic guitarist/pianist for smaller settings. I've been singing since I could talk. I can go from power songs like Barracuda to 40's standards in .02 seconds. Although that would sound really weird. I can also sing opera but you don't see too many classified ads for classically trained soloists. I'm a mother and wife so there will be drama but not like, my husband will beat you up for looking at me or I do more meth than a tweaker on holiday, drama. More like, I have a kid with a snotty nose or math test tomorrow, drama. For the record, my husband is awesome and I don't do drugs. I won't be around people that do either. Not judging, just a personal stance. If you can get past that, the fact that I'm almost 35 but look 25, have a full time job, go to school and knit in my spare time, we'll be cool.

I have 30+ tattoos and can sing almost anything. I don't wear mom jeans. I've been compared to everyone from Anne Wilson and Amy Lee to "that one chick from Ace of Base" and "you know, that one girl that sings that one song". I especially love to sing 80's hair band music. Most people don't expect a girl to sing "Still of the Night" by Whitesnake and hit every note. However, I also don't want to be confined to one genre. Unless I make bank.
