Started playing guitar in '89, Bass & Drums since? I began taking lessons at age 9 learning classical as well as basic rock technique and continued untit age 14. At that time I could read both bass & trebble cleff notation and was learning modal theory. That whole angle changed when I quit taking lessons and started taking drugs. I have no shame in this, it's part of what shaped me into who I am and how I play. Without practicing theory, scale sequences, and reading notation I soon lost the ability to do so. However, this is when I learned to play from my heart instead of my head and began to develop my own unique style. Improvisation is my strength and sometimes struggle to lock in consistantly with all the possibilities of how I could play obscuring how maybe I should play a specific peice of music. All in all I play because I love music and will continue indefinately and without stardom being any motivation. Success to me is being able to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who have brought joy into my life by their own hard work and creativity. I have nothing to anchor me here and would jump at the chance to tour. Ideally I seek a band of unconventional form, something genre defying and sincere, though I have no aversions about playing music that has been done before as long as it has heart.

Influences
Anything from folk to doom, funk to noise. If it can throw a sonic curve ball then I guess it has been influential to my playing. To start dropping too many names would be counter productive so I guess if I were to be exiled with only 3 albums to take with me into this fictitious end I would take; Faith No More-King for a day, Acid Bath-When the kite string pops, and either Murder by Death-Red of Tooth and Claw, or Clutch-Slow Hole to China. 6&7 string guitars, bass guitar, I have my own drum kit, numerous guitar amps including a stack. Bass amplification is currently lacking in my arsinal.
