I'm a singer/songwriter currently playing gigs solo with acoustic guitar/vocals/harmonica (if I'm in the mood). I was told at a recent gig that I sound like Son Volt. I'm looking for putting together a possible band that would fall into either the genre of folk-rock or alt-country. I envision myself as lead vocals, and acoustic rhythm guitar plus harmonica and I would like to complete the band with the following instruments: drums, bass, lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, organ/piano and backup vocals. I already have a piano player lined up. I'm serious about pursuing music as a career either locally, regionally or nationally. Take a look at /danielryanmusic84 to hear a demo.
