Influences

I love the bass and am influenced by so many artists, but my heroes are prolific session guys such as Leland Sklar, Bob Glaub, Tony Levin, etc. They play to the song and have great tone.

My approach to playing is mainly influenced by rock and pop music from the 1960s on, including British bands (Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin), Motown and Stax, 70s Laurel Canyon folk-rock (James Taylor, Jackson Brown, Carole King, Eagles) and pop-rock (Elton John, Billy Joel, Bowie, Queen), progressive (Yes, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson), 80s pop rock (Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, Crowded House, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, The Police, U2, Journey), hard rock/metal (Black Sabbath, Metallica, AC/DC, Queensryche), 90s-00s alt (Pearl Jam, Radiohead) and Americana-type bands (Tom Petty, Wilco).

Currently in a Journey/Bon Jovi tribute and an original rock band.
