Ultra is primarily a Depeche Mode cover band, but with a more edgy enhanced sound.
The vision is to take DM songs and give them some new life, enhance / expand on them, make them bigger fuller and punchier with the new music technology available today, along with visuals to tie in with the shows to make it a visual and audible exciting experience. These ingredients are paramount to our success.
Ultra is also open to expanding to covering other songs of similar genre old and new. Down the line as our friendship bonds and relationships develop and our creative juices flow co-writing original music to through into our set lists is certainly encouraged.
First goal is to get the music and show dialed in and playing gigs so were making money. This just takes finding the right mix of interested, committed and enthusiastic band members.
This could be a very lucrative endeavor, I know that good cover bands make good money playing corporate and private events.
I have lead singer role of Dave Gahan nailed down.
I'm looking band members that can fill the roles of Martin Gore and Alan Wilder, possibly even a 4th member depending on the scope of ability and skills we have between us.
Think about how fun and exciting of an endeavor this could develop into. The music is already created, now lets enhance it and take it to another level.
