ABOUT

I wish to form or join a blues band, and at first, cover the artists I have come to love. My ambition is fueled by my wish to express this music and excel in the form. I am moved by this music and wish to create a group of like minded musicians who play at a high level--or aspire to and are willing to work to a higher level.
Have listened to blues music for 45 years. I have an extensive lp, cassette, and cd blues collection.
I have become serious about increasing my skill level with harmonica and vocals for the last 2 years and have been playing everyday for 1.5-2 hrs for the last 7 months.
I can cover on harmonica solos by LWalter, Charlie Musselwhite, Paul Butterfield, and others with pretty good accuracy--Rod Piazza, Billy Branch, etc.
I am an actor for 40 years so I have excellent stage presence and chops.
Very versatile voice-mostly baritone. Untrained, but with range--can belt Howlin' Wolf and also sing Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester, Paul Butterfield and Charlie Musselwhite. And more.
