Greetings! I am seeking a band or like-minded musicians at a similar skill level as myself to build a serious band with the simple goal of creating and producing original music that we can truly proud of. I have a very eclectic taste in music and have been attracted to most types of music at one point or another in my life. I can play most styles but I get the most pleasure from situations where I can create drum parts that employ dynamics, space, and thoughtful grooves and fills to complement the song. In addition, I am not interested in playing country or death metal.

I very recently parted ways with an original band called Stable Ren. You can see me on drums on their fb//be. I am not married to this style, but hopefully by watching our some poor quality cell phone videos of our performances you can see that I can play a bit ;)

Influences

I could write a list that is miles long but the guys who influenced me the most were John Bonham, Ringo, Buddy Rich, any of James Brown's guys, and 1970s era fusion. Not a drummer but I love Johnny Marr.

I have a number of pro level drum sets but always stick to a single bass pedal and a general a basic 4 piece set (snare, bass, rack tom, floor tom) and a minimal Zildjian cymbal set-up.
