I am a member of a well-established, award winning SATB vocal group and we are replacing our soprano. This is a very specific skill set because we specialize in tight, jazz/pop harmonies (in the tradition of The Manhattan Transfer). Our musical arrangements are original and accompanied by piano. Most gigs are paid but members need to have an alternate means of income! No touring but occasional out of town gigs. Ideal profile: small ensemble singing experience; performance skills; great pitch; team player; sight reader or fast learner; solid high "A; passionate about harmony.
