The Del Rays were first formed in 1959 and played numerous venues in the Houston, Texas area until 1963. The original band consisted of rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, sax, and drums. The band made several recordings and frequently backed up visiting well known artists in the rock and roll field. Recently the band had a reunion jam session and decided that we would like to play together again. One of the original members, who played rhythm guitar, is a retired engineer who now lives in Colorado, and, although he attended the reunion, is unable to commit to playing regular gigs. Three of the original members, lead guitar, sax, and drums, would like to find a bass man and a key board man to play on a semi regular basis. We also have a dynamite female vocalist
