Denny Blake Bassist/ Founder of the Tennessee Band "SHoTGuNN BLuE" (/shotgunnblue) and Former Bassist Co-Founder of the Tennessee Band "PRARIE FIRE" (/prariefirerocks) has recently relocated to Lapeer, Michigan and is seeking musicians to jam with and possibly form a new band or maybe even re-form SGB....? You can hear my playing and songs on . I want to play originals and covers too as this makes booking gigs much easier and gives you a wider audience. However I have no interest in doing karaoke or trying to play covers "exactly" like the album. I;d much rather put my own stamp on the tune, make it fresh, while retaining it's familiarity. This makes the songs more fun and exciting for the audience and the players are allowed to use their own attitude. I also am fond of using "Mash-Ups", Medleys, and Linking tunes together. I want to have an authentic REAL Rock N' Roll Sound! Bluesy, Southern, Classic, Rock-A-Billy, Outlaw Country, Motown..... In other words, A** KICKIN' ROCK N' ROLL!!!!!

EQUIPMENT
I currently have a Shecter 4 string neck thru body Elite Bass. It has active electronics, EMG Pick-Ups, and sounds Hella KILLER! I also have a 200 watt Behrigner Bass Amp with a Bugera 10" speaker. I also have a Peavey Grind neck thru body bass and a 4x10" Behringer 450 watt combo amp, but I have to go to Tennessee and pick them up. I'm hoping to go sometime in february 2010.
