I am looking for female singer to collaborate with, I don't care about how you look or how old you are I am concerned about if you can sing, if you can write great lyrics, are easy to get along with, and have a similar vision of music as I do. I am looking to begin a project writing and recording music then marketing and distributing the music through online channelsf i can find a way to monetize it I will. I do not have any "rules" about what music should be, I want to do whatever the singer and I am feeling, influences though are Beth from Portishead, Lorde, Radiohead, Daft Punk, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Sneaker Pimps, Sia, Nirvana, System of a Down, The Beatles, The Doors, Tool, Rage against the Machine, Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea, Micheal Jackson, Pantera, Prodigy, Gorrillaz, Slipknot, Empire of the Sun, Lovage, Regina Specktor, Lilly Allen, pretty much all over the map, musically I want to mash together, rock, metal, hip-hop, EDM, R n' B and whatever else to create music. I am a digital artist, I do design, web, photography, video, sound design etc and will build the infrastructure to market the music. You can check out this site that I put together quickly ://vlfberhtmusic/ that has some music I did over the last year or so, by myself none of it is really done and will never be, I am looking to move forward, but as you can hear it has a lot of different elements, it was all done with a mac book pro, Reason, pro-tools, a MPC 26, a midi keyboard, a guitar, a bass now and then and a Shure KSM27 mic at home. I wouldn't mind collaborating with a bass player, drummer [ one who can play as well as program drums and it would be cool if you have drum mics] even a keyboardist [i play mostly guitar but also play some keys, and program drums and bass] as well and i record with Reason mostly, but with about any DAW I can get a hold of. I am not looking to "start a band and gig and get famous" this is purely for the joy and love of music, if we ever play a live show that would be cool but not necesarry, I don't really want to market myself but market the music with great graphics and video to accompany it, maybe ever provide music for short films and such, one of the biggest reason I love Daft Punk is they put the focus on the music and eliminate themselves from it. I have a good job so I am just really looking to create cool music and share it. I am not looking for a Celine Dion, or Christina Agularra, again lyrical content is the most important aspect to me, the music will be simple, and clean nothing that's crazy musicianship I already jam with pretentious "I went to music school for 8 years and yeah i'm pretty awesome" funk/jazz/jam band/ blues musicians, that's cool but not what I am looking to do with this, the music is just a canvas for a singer to paint on, but also with no constraints, anything should go.
