Hello, my name is David. Here are somethings to know about me when it comes to playing guitar (I’ll try to be as true as I can to bring you the most fortune).
- I’ve been playing for technically 10 years because I never dropped it at all, but I was never fully committed until around age 13.
- Currently, I’m enrolled in the School of Rock program in Germantown, TN, currently in the house band.
- Because I’m into 90’s and 00’s alternative rock (and definitely some classic rock), I’ve never gotten my chance to play much of that in a band.
- I was invited once on stage to play with Foo Fighters (by a complete chance, you can ask me more about that).
- I’ve played guitar for one musical at my school, but my ability to sightread is still limited.
- I’ve been working on theory for a while, but I’m a slow learner when it comes to that.
- However, I am a fairly quick learner when it comes to songs I enjoy listening to. If I’m giving 10 songs I liked, I can usually have them down (depending on difficulty) in the matter of a couple hours.
- I am down for writing music.
- I can play a little bit of bass, but very much prefer to play guitar.
- I practice guitar every day (which is why it says i tend to practice so much below, i didn’t know if that meant with a band or not)
