ABOUT

I'm open to almost any kind of music. I’v play in a World, Cover, Church, Acoustic, and Spoken Word/Jazz band. I have played with poets on a fly, and people thought we'd been together for a while because of the impact they experienced after our first improvised performance.
I'm open to playing something that hasn’t been played before, as long as it touches the soul. I was born in San Francisco, yet grew up on both sides of the tracks. My music palate is wide & deep because of music buff friends, plus the Cow Place being in my backyard!
My brother's LP's were diverse as well, from The Allman Brothers to Earth, Wind & Fire.

Influences

I began playing Congas at 16 with a community of drummers at Lake Merritt. My musical influences include Eddie Palmieri, Santana, Ralph McDonald, Babatunde Lee and other drummers.
