Lola's NewFangled Rockers is a band of musicians that all grew up in different parts of the world. We write, play, produce, and mix the songs ourselves. We do this with real performances that each musician performs and records and sends from our remote independent locations and to our Mixmaster (Our drummer Kike) in South America.

This is a group in which each member brings their own unique individual style(s) and experiences from different parts of the globe. We work to weave it all together, and are very proud to say that we believe the sum is greater than the parts. What we have confirmed in our experience together is that people all over the world are more the same than different, and that the people of the world should come together (as opposed to the politicians). We have all become friends, and it is a tight knit group playing mostly classic hard rock based and alternative styles. We all get along great. In our ultimate dream, we would like the rest of the world to follow our path to world unity.

Lola de Hanna is our front woman with a unique voice that was born in Greece. Her voice is a unique blend of smooth and sultry, with bursts of emotion that lend different twists to traditional rock. She does all of her own harmonies too. Lola has sung a wide range of styles from pop to rock to metal. She is also the Lola in the group ChordSlinger n Lola who are known in the Indie community and on ReverbNation. She has a lot of experience with various groups and styles.

ChordSlinger (keyboardist) is our band manager and co-writes our songs with Lola. He has always lived in the outermost suburbs in the Heartland of America. He coordinates most of the band activity, and has played keyboards his whole life. He plays the piano/synth. Some of the other instruments you hear on our recordings, such as violins or a xylophone, are played by him through his synthesizer. He has substantial experience with classic and alternative rock.

Kike (Enrique Paglia) is our drummer and mixmaster. He was born in Córdoba, Argentina, and still lives there. His drumming is powerful, and his timing is impeccable. Additionally, he has worked hard to bring his mixing skills to a pro level over the last couple of years and we are very proud of his contributions to our music. Kike has played rock and pop on the circuits as a career. He played drums, recorded, mixed, and mastered 3 albums for the band Odoghan who he plays with. They are the opening act for a lot of the majors in that part of the world.

Jezzy Micheals is our bass player. He was born in Darwin, Australia. Jezzy brings that deep rock bass and great timing that he learned from his favorites - KISS, Cinderella, Poison, Gun n’ Roses, etc., but don’t let that fool you. He can play anything with feeling. He creates some unique and powerful bass lines. He has extensive previous experience in Australia playing for Out of Season, Sonic, and Wretchid Child.

Miguel Castellanos is our acoustic guitar player. He was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He has played with a number of groups over a long period of time, and has a lot of experience with Pop, Latin, and Rock styles. He is also a proficient electric guitar player, bass player, and drummer. We don’t use acoustic guitar as much as the other instruments with our rock music, but he is there when we need him. He also brings a lot of wisdom to our mixing and song discussion.

Past Members and Featured Artists

BC Bungee was our lead and rhythm guitar player. He grew up and still lives in Belgrade, Serbia. He can play at light speed with perfect timing, and still bring the emotion. He played with “Ana Maria” which had 2 LPs and were quite successful in Europe back in the day. They played at the big venues with TV spots and interviews and the works. War came to his region and destroyed everything he had worked for. Since, he has worked as an occasional studio musician, and says that if he hadn’t been a musician, he would be a Jedi knight (preferably Obi-Wan Kenobi). We are still friends, and he may make an occasional future appearance.

Gia G was featured as lead guitarist on our song list for "Stop This War". She is an accomplished instrumentalist who has charted on Billboard and we thank her for her contribution.

Dr. Dre was featured a lead guitarist in the "Stop This War" video. He is a very talented musician who keeps a low profile. We dragged him out of hiding for this one and he did a fabulous job.

1) Our song "Stop This War" achieved an extremely high score on Crowd Review (8.0) and was also on the front of the featured artists page in October 2022

2) Our song "I'm So Happy That You've Gone Away" achieved a very high score on Crowd Review (7.6), and was on the featured artists page in October 2022.

3) We won a Tribe of Noise contest recently, and one of our songs was played by their network throughout Europe.
