Band to Join.ABOUT
I have been playing the violin/fiddle off and on since age 6. I started with a classical background and gradually picked up bluegrass influences and now REALLY enjoy any kind of country, Celtic, bluegrass, country rock, and especially alternative music. Was in the Altoona Symphony Orchestra for 10 years, graduate of Duquesne University, competed in Pennsylvania and West Virginia Old Time Fiddler's contests, and attended the Mark O'Connor Fiddle Camp in 2007. Have done some studio work, most notably with The Finders, Cliff Hillis of Starbelly, and Cross Canyon. Have opened for Grandpa Jones (years ago) and played as background for Mike Reid in the past. Love playing out just about anywhere!

Influences
Wow -- a whole bunch. Love listening to Michael Cleveland and anything Luke Bulla is involved with, and of course O'Connor. Love modern country violin/fiddle. Charlie Daniels rules!! Also love Bach and Mozart and the like. Favorite country musicians are Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert, while I appreciate everything from Metallica to U2 to Lady Gaga in the pop world. Could listen to anything all day from Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits or Rob Hyman's work with the Hooters. BIG FAN of Mark Selby and Tia Sillers (very distant cousins via my step-dad).

The Finders - Revolution Ready
The Finders - Revolution Ready Track number: 7 Year: 1997 Album: The Finders Genre: Folk
This was the first studio recording I had ever been a part of, and we recorded a 13 song first album in 36 hours -- straight through, sleeping in shifts. We didn't have much money. :) We had to make the hours count. Recorded at Sound Cage Studios by Jan Luczek in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This track, "Revolution Ready", received some airplay on stations in Delaware and Baltimore.

Mark Selby -- Blue On Black
Mark Selby -- Blue On Black Album: studio acoustic cut Genre: Classic Rock
This is the #1 Kenny Wayne Sheppard song "Blue On Black" that my second-cousin Mark Selby wrote; he is my step-dad's nephew, to be more specific, and he's been nice enough to let me jam with him at a family reunion and see him performing in a songwriter-in-the-round at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. This is a copy of a family-only CD he and his wife, Tia Sillers, issued of acoustic cuts they did of songs they'd written. Enjoy!
