My name is Brian, 30 years old and have been playing drums for 17 years now (8/2011). I took drum lessons for the first ten years so I am knowledgable about how to play the drums and how to know what is being played on a recording. Just looking for a good band that plays gigs about 1 to 2 times a week.

Influences
Josh Freese is my favorite drummer, also Chad Sexton from 311. In my opinion the greatest life a drummer has ever lived and continues to live is Tommy Lee.
EQUIPMENT
I have a custom-made 7 piece DW drumset. I recognize that most styles of music other than let's say, Iron Maiden, does not need a whole 7 piece setup, that's why I had my drumset mae up so that every drum stands alone so that I can make my setup a 4 or 5 piece setup as needed.
