ABOUT
I'm a student at Grinnell College. I've been playing drumset for four years, and other percussion, primarily djembe and other hand drums, for three. I have extensive experience playing all styles of Christian music, especially gospel, and have basic competency in jazz and other rock/funk based styles.
I'm currently playing with a Christian praise team and a gospel choir at Grinnell College.

Influences
I've been most strongly influenced by contemporary Christian and gospel drumming, but as I've matured I've moved away from the CCM sound more towards the busier styles of Bwack from David Crowder Band, Darren King from Mutemath, and a lot of contemporary gospel drummers, as well as some of the funkier rhythms from some hip-hop.
EQUIPMENT
I have a 5-piece Pearl EXR set with Sabien XS20 cymbals and a 12" Toca djembe, along with a few other assorted percussive toys.
