ABOUT

Seasoned guitarist, singer, and songwriter. I've played in four bands professionally over the course of 30 years of writing and recording music. Mostly alternative rock style bands, having spent my touring-in-the-van years in the 90s with influences such as the Replacements, Soul Asylum, Uncle Tupelo, Nirvana, etc. Later leaned heavily into Americana.

I've played lead guitar in two bands with co-writing duties, backup vocals and lead vocals on some tunes (Vegas DeMilo, The Piersons). Fronted one band (Las Pulgas) and swapped lead vocals / lead guitar in another (Strangers Almanac).

I'm looking to join or start a band that primarily does originals (some covers mixed in okay) and play lead guitar/supporting guitar and sing backups and possibly original tunes.

I play Les Pauls (Custom and a Special) and a Tele Custom, depending on the song/band style, through either a Vox AC30 or a Sovtek Mig100 and 2x12 cabinet. Various pedals.
