I've been playing bass on and off for about 20 years now, mostly as an acoustic duo with a guitarist friend. The vast amount was originals with about 4 CD's worth of finished work being created.
More recently, I've become interested in pursuing something a bit heavier to feed into my interest in prog, fusion and alternative music, as well as jam band influences.
I'm primarily interested in writing and recording original music and have many ideas and riffs to bring to the table. Ideally I would find a like minded guitar player of drummer to start working on ideas. Not really interested in playing out unless it's mostly original stuff with a few covers. Think of it as that side project with little bar potential but great music all the same.

EQUIPMENT
Guild Pilot fretted and fretless 4 string basses. Warwick Corvette 4 string. SWR head and 1 x 15 / 2 x 10 cabs and half dozen pedals. Also an SWR 15" combo that can travel relatively easily.
I'm a prolific recordist, at least capturing most music events with a couple of mics as you never know when a good idea or jam is going to hit. I also have a sixteen track audio interface and ProTools, not to mention MANY mics and such and would love to ultimately put them to use on whatever may come.
