ABOUT

For over ten years, Eli Wiggs has enriched undead Punk Rock culture with honest and soulful music that makes a person want to take a stand, or just get up and rage. He brings an energy and charisma to any stage. Eli started playing gigs 10 years ago with his first bands Maypole and Empty Banner. Playing numerous shows in Boulder, Colorado at venues such as; Club Breakdown, Boulder Creek Festival, Anderson Farms, and Waldorf Senior Cabaret.

It was apparent that Eli's stage presence came naturally, and more gigs were sure to come. In 2005 Eli picked up the guitar, and hasn't turned back since. He says the guitar offered many more creative options and doorways, that really started his musical career.

In 2007 Eli started playing with two close friends in the band "Meat Your Mom.", a high energy punk band with catchy lyrics and energy to get a crowd on their feet. The band played their first show at Iliff Park Saloon in January 2008. They played the entire set in 20 minutes, without a word between songs. Eli says "Afterwards, we didn't even watch the other bands play, we just went back to the room and got sh*t faced. I was passed out by 9:30. Haha, it was an epic first Meat Your Mom show.

Meat Your Mom had another epic two years, before the band split. During this time, they grew and conquered. Eli's talent for lyrics and catchy rhythms continued to grow. The band played numerous venues including; Wyatts Torch, Halloween Party 2008, Hermans Hideway (aurora, Co.), and Oskars Pub (Boulder, Co).

The band also played two unforgettable festival shows. Meat Fest 2009 and 2010 can not go without being mentioned. A punk rock riot in the middle of a corn field. True punk rock at it's best, with a plywood stage balanced on tires, and half the band playing out of the back of a pickup truck. It's no wonder when the term "Meat Fest" is mentioned, half of the bands friends lose their lunch, and half scream HELL fu*kING YEAH!!!

After the split of Meat your Mom, Eli continued perfecting and writing new songs. In late 2011, Eli and two friends got together in the basement of a dingy, 100 year old house in the ghetto of Aurora, and brought the music back to life. Something about Eli, Gonzalo, and Vlados in the same room felt promising. The energy was back and the guys knew it was time to rock.

Eli moved to Oceanside, California in March 2012. The guys plan to continue their project with the most recent group "The Doubloons", when everyone makes it out to California later this year.

Currently, Eli is searching for opportunities in San Diego County and surrounding. In addition to his on stage and front man experience, Eli has also worked with Sound and Lighting for Quilombo at Fox Theater and Boulder theater in Boulder, Colorado. His musical experience is extensive and broad. He is open to try new projects and meet new bands.
